Folios 499-500: William Luke, HMS Caroline, Sheerness. Covering letter for the enclosed [not present] Writ of Habeas Corpus which he received today for Ambion John Beitzen who was pressed on 28 September 1795 in Longreach, he was going down to Ramsgate to join a ship. Requests to know pursuant to the writ being served he must deliver him up, he has not received the King's Bounty nor advance.
