Folios 491-492: John Luck, [His agent] Marsh and Creed, [23] Norfolk Street. On behalf of Captain John Luck we state that on 21 May 1795 he was appointed to Regulating Captain for the men to be found on the North part of Wiltshire and that having completed his quota on 13 June 1795 he sent a list of the enrollment to the Admiralty and in order that the business might be completed as speedy as possible immediately closed his disbursements and sent them to the Navy Office. As he did not however receive their Lordships order to discharge himself (copy enclosed) [not present] until the 20 July 1795 he considered himself still employed but has only been paid to the time his accounts were closed. Requests an order for him to be paid his allowance until the date of their letter of recall.
Folios 493-494: enclosure with folios 491-492. [Copy of Folios 491-492].
