Folios 486-487: Thomas Louis, HMS Minotaur, Cawsand Bay. Reports arriving in Cawsand Bay today having parted company with Vice Admiral John Colpoys the night of 29 December 1796 in a very heavy gale. Having received damage in the Gale and not being able to rejoin Vice Admiral John Colpoys he thought it best to return for repairs.
