Description

Folios 400-401: George Luke, HMS Terror, Jack in the Basket, Lymington. He reports that they have captured a French ship which was boarded by Lieutenant Skill. He reports that he understands that the French are building flat bottomed boats with which to attack the Channel Islands.

Folio 402: enclosed with folios 400-401. George Luke, HMS Terror. He gives details of 3 men from the French boat. Philip Rosignal, Lieutenant, the Nancy privateer of Jersey, captured by the Felicity. John Harris, Master, the Charlotte. Philip Paulet of Jersey, Mate, the Duncan.
