Folios 382-383: Richard Lucas, HMS Sphynx, Plymouth. He reports that he left Cork on January 16 with HMS Andramanche and 6 transports carrying the 40th Brigade of Infantry and two companies of Royal Irish Artillery. Robert Wright, 1st Lieutenant, is sick and unable to exercise his duties. Dodwell Brown, 2nd Lieutenant, is in command of the prize they captured so Rear Admiral Kingsmill has appointed Austin Bissile as 2nd Lieutenant on HMS Sphynx. He asks that this is confirmed.

Folio 385: enclosed with folios 382-383. Isaac Coffin, HMS Melampus. He provides a testimonial dated 18 October 1793 for Austin Bissile, Lieutenant.
