Description

Folios 266-267: Richard Lee, HMS Serpent, Sheernes. He encloses details of 2 men who have deserted. he suggests that they should be tried by a court martial as an example to others.

Folio 268: enclosed with folios 266-267. Richard Lee, HMS Serpent. He gives a detailed description of David Thompson and William Lyons who have deserted from HMS Serpent. He offers a reward for their capture of 5 guineas in addition to the Royal Bounty for capturing deserters.
