Folios 193-194: Francis Laforey, HMS Caryfort, Plymouth. He reports that on the orders of Captain Gridall, HMS Thalia, he escorted the convoy to Corunna, Bilboa and St Sebastian. He encountered a French frigate, Le Caston, which he captured. He commends his Officers and Crew for their conduct during the action, mentioning Lieutenants Worsley and Sayer. HMS Caryfort had 1 Seaman killed and 5 Seamen wounded. The Casson had 16 Seamen killed and 9 Seamen wounded.
