Folios 303-304: Andrew King, HMS Iphigenia, Baylis Bay, Bermuda. As Thomas Simpson has passed the exam to qualify him for a lieutenant, he has solicited V A Sir Alexander Cochrane an appointment for him.
Folio 305: enclosure with folios 303-304. Letter dated 20 March 1815 from Sir Alexander Cochrane, Bermuda, appointing Thomas Simpson, master's mate on HMS Iphigenia to rank of Lieutenant.
