Folios 299-300: Charles Kerr, HMS Tonnant, Bermuda. Following the letter from the captain of the packet, Osborne, on his arrival in Halifax, one of the seamen belonging to HMS Wolverine deserted. He believes he was concealed on one of the packets. He deemed it necessary that the search should be done by one of the officers from the Wolverine and hailed him to say to the captain of the packet 'To refuse my orders at his peril'.
