Folios 263-264: William King, HMS Leonides off Madeira. After severe weather when the fleet was separated off Madeira, he reports that he has recovered most of the transports and merchant ships except the Dragon and Herald. The master of the Alexander transport had to throw overboard 20 tins of ordnance to save his ship. Having repaired the different damages of the gun brigs, he is ready to proceed to Bermuda. He encloses a list [not present] of the convoy.
