Folios 353-354: William Hugh Kittoe, Regulating Officer, Southampton. Acknowledges receipt of Admiralty letter of 3 November with 12 copies of a Proclamation extending His Majesty's gracious pardon to all seamen and marines who may have deserted from the service prior to the issuing of the Proclamation. Also directions to make the copies as public as possible, which has done.
