Folios 304-305: William Hugh Kittoe, Southampton. Acknowledges receipt of Admiralty letter of 6 May enclosing circular letter of the Earl of Liverpool concerning the Local Militia. States that no person serving in the Local Militia is at liberty to enlist into the navy, army or marines or regular militia during the period of being assembled for the purpose of annual training. Notes that he is to notify officers under his command of this and ordering them to strictly abstain from any interference with the officers of the Local Militia.
