Folios 240-241: Edward Killwick, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Sets out the issue with overcrowding of impressed men on the Princess. To prevent infectious diseases allows the men to come on deck in divisions. Feels that there could easily be a mutiny and the escape of thirty men recently who attempted to take the ship from the officers encourages the men. The previous day the pressed men were only returned to the press room by the immediate exertions of officers and crew. Requests that there might be a Lieutenants party of Marines to be under his command and also a more frequent supply of either Sloops of War or Tenders to move the men between Liverpool and Plymouth. Understands from Captain Horton there is only one Tender on this station.
