Folios 237-238: Edward Killwick, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Requesting Admiralty directions on how to deal with the problem of the Liverpool pilots continually anchoring ships within the buoys of the Princess resulting in their anchors damaging the ship's cables. It is also a great temptation to the impressed men to swim away. Gives details of a problem with an American vessel and encloses an estimate for the cost of repairing it.
Folios 239-240: enclosure with folios 237-238. Document giving estimate of damage caused to the cable of the Princess by the American ship dated 27 September 1809 and signed by William [?] - Master, William Stibes - Boatswain, Noble Evans - Pilot and Thomas [/?] - Master's Mate.
