Folios 180-181: John Knight, HMS Montagu, at sea. Enclosing a letter to the Earl of St Vincent which he requests be passed to Admiral St Vincent.
Folio 182: enclosure with folios 180-181. Letter dated 21 October 1800 by John Knight, reporting that 11 vessels have come out of the port of Danenne, with the Montagu under command of Lieutenant Wills. A large brig laden with wine and brandy has been taken from Port Louis and received two shots in the hull. The Argonaut appears perfectly ready for sea.
