This company was not incorporated as such but after considerable negotiation was, as revealed in the minutes, amalgamated with "Stephenson's Company", "Rennie's Company" (or Direct London & Brighton Railway Co.), and "Gibb's Company", under heads of agreement dated 13th June 1837 to form "London & Brighton Railway Company" (q.v.).
