Folios 244-245: John Knowles, Guernsey. Reporting that on 15 April HMS Beaulieu went aground on a rock called Le Caval, and during two hours there many of her guns were thrown overboard, so every effort will be made to get them up despite srong tides and only a very short slack water; also that Nicholas Torade is to be sent to the Island's Royal Courts and as soon as he is delivered up he will be sent back to his ship; also that HMS Ethalion, Hebe and Boston are in the Roads, while HMS Beaulieu has sailed for Portsmouth.
