Folios 234-235: John Knowles, Guernsey. Reporting the arrival of the armed transport, HMS Calcutta and the mutiny by several crewmen, who were secured by a party of soldiers and sent to Portsmouth and Plymouth; also requesting that HMS Spider be stationed to protect the Island from French privateers who are constantly cruising the area.
