Folios 202-203: Reginald Goodwin Keats. HMS Boadicea, Portsmouth. He has noticed that Lieutenant William Mansell, who has not yet joined the ship, is senior to Mr James Irwin (2) who commissioned HMS Boadicea and has attended to his duty ever since. Mr Irwin, was First Lieutenant on HMS Nymphe, the last ship he served in. He asks, provided it does not interfere with the Admiralty's plans, that they appoint Mr Irwin in lieu of Mr Mansell.
