Folios 194-195: Reginald Goodwin Keats, HMS Galatea, Falmouth. He expresses his relief and satisfaction that the Admiralty has acceptedhis explanation of recent events as set out in his letter of 24 March 1797. He refers to the Admiralty's directions to send the ten supernumeraries who appeared on his ship to Plymouth. He reports that three of them are invalided seamen. Two are apprentices who are in ill health and there is one foreigner. Only the foreigner is willing to enter into the King's Service. The rest of them, in the Surgeon's opinion, are not fit enough to do so. Accordingly they were landed at Falmouth. The remaining four men will be sent as so directed by the Admiralty.
