Folio 190: Reginald Goodwin Keats, HMS Galatea, Falmouth. He writes that Lieutenant John Joyce, presently of HMS Galatea, has been sent a commission for HMS Prince. Additionally, Rear Admiral Sir Roger Curtis has written and asked Captain Keats to allow Lieutenant Curtis to join HMS Prince without delay as her services will likely be required very soon. Accordingly, he has permitted Lieutenant Joyce to join HMS Prince before he was formally superceded. He hopes this action meets with the Admiralty's approval.
