Folios 166-167: Jonathan Knowles, Guernsey. He writes that he was appointed to his post on 5 December 1792 and that this employment has been renewed repeatedly ever since. The last ship he commanded was a 74 and he announces he is now willing and ready to serve in any other service the Admiralty directs.
