Folios 35-36: William Hancock Kelly, HMS Veteran, Hamoaze. The letter states that the bearer is Mr Bunthorne, lately carpenter on HMS Veteran, who has been appointed to HMS James. His delay in arriving at his new appointment was caused by delays among the Officers of the yards in granting him the necessary certificates and receipts.
