Folios 31-32: William Hancock Kelly, HMS Veteran. As requested, he writes about his former gunner Mr John Shrewsbury. He died in the West Indies and Sir Hugh Cloberry Christian appointed Mr John Edevaine of HMS La Pique to succeed him. The station at which HMS La Pique was employed prevented him, however, from joining before HMS Veteran sailed. The carpenter Mr Moses Chapman, died on the passage home.
