Folios 1C-1D: Henry Knowles, HMS Edgar, Blackstakes. He reports that HMS Goliath will be ready to sail to Blackstakes (possibly Black Stakes, Medway) soon. The wind has shifted however, which means she may be unable to leave. Provided the Admiralty agrees, should that happen, then HMS Edgar will sail to Chatham. He awaits orders.
