Believes his letter dated 21 August 1814 has not arrived and states that as ordered by Admiral Thomas Foley on 14 August 1814 he received on board on 16 August 1814 in Dover Roads the Viscount and Viscountess of Castlereagh, and suite, for a passage to Ostend. Asks for the usual allowance.
