Description

Folios 162-163: Cooke & Leopard [Naval Agents], Adelphi. Refers to the enclosed order and asks that the usual allowances be paid to Captain Hawkins.

Folios 164-165: enclosure with folios 162-163. Orders dated 10 August 1814 by Admiral Sir Richard Bickerton, on board HMS Prince, Spithead. Orders Abraham Mills Hawkins to take on board Mr Crispin, HM Consul at Oporto. Because of the conflict he is not to enter that port but should put Mr Crispin on board one of the vessels in the convoy. Otherwise he may take him to Lisbon.
