Folios 94-95: Ommaney and Druce, London. Writing on behalf of Captain William Henry Herrick they ask that he be granted personal pay from the day he embarked in HMS Actaeon at Spithead on 9 April 1811 until his entry as lieutenant on board HMS Hecate on 27 February 1812. He had taken the passage in HMS Actaeon in order to travel to India to take up an appointment on HMS Hecate and there place himself under the orders of Admiral William O'Brien Drury.
