Folios 89-90: Herbert William Hore, HMS Freya, Spithead. Reports that he received on board Major General Anson and staff in the Verdun Roads, Gironde, on 20 July 1814 for a passage to Portsmouth as ordered by Admiral Sir Edward James Foote. Anson disembarked at Portsmouth on 2 August 1914. Asks for the usual allowance to be paid. Refers to the enclosure.
Folio 91: enclosure with folios 89-90. Letter dated 26 July 1814 by Edward James Foote, HMS Montagu, Verdun Roads. Writes to Captain Hore directing him to take Major General Anson on a passage to Spithead.
