Folios 422-423: Frederick Hoffman, Ealing Green. Memorial of Frederick Hoffman. Having served twenty years in HM Service, with twelve years in the West Indies and six in the Mediterranean and Home Stations. He has been twice wounded. He was captured off Boulogne whilst Commanding HMS Apelles. Requests to be promoted to Past Captain.
