Description

Folios 417-418: George W Hayes, Admirals Office, Plymouth. Having received the enclosed order, for the conveyance to Bordeaux of the person named in the order in HMS Whiting. He requests the usual remuneration.

Folio 419: Enclosure with folios 417-418. Orders dated 27 April 1814 by Vice Admiral William Domett, HMS Salvador del Mundo, Hamoaze, too Lieutenant George Hayes, HMS Whiting. To receive on board Lieutenant Colonel [Thomas Noel] Hill charged with dispatches for Marquis of Wellington for a passage to Basque Roads, on his way to the British Army at Bordeaux.
