Description

Folios 254-255: Askew Pafford Hollis, HMS Achille, Between the Seven Islands and the Start [Point?]. Reports that on the 9 April 1814 he ordered the Sandwich Lugger to reconnoitre the Port of St Maloes [Saint-Malo] and the next morning she returned and reported that she had been chased by two of the Enemies Frigates out of St Maloes [Saint-Malo]. [Details of the situation. Mentions:-] Rouche, Douvre, Guernsey, HMS Cressy, HMS Barbara, Brest, HMS Sybelle, Ushant and Scilly.
