Folios 223-224: Charles Hewit [Hewitt], HMS Gladiator, Portsmouth Harbour. States the man Thomas Cook was sent to HMS Griper on 6 September 1813 from which vessel he was reported as Run on 11 November 1813. The man was bought on board HMS Gladiator on 6 April 1814 by an Officer from the Goal at Portsmouth, stating that he had been imprisoned there four months by sentence of the Civil Court for theft. He request that the R be removed and he be discharged him to the Civil Power on the day he was made Run in order that he may recover wages due him. [Folio 224] Details of Thomas Cook from 6 September 1813 to 11 November 1813.
