Description

Folios 157-158: John Martin Hanchett, [HMS Diadem]. 13 Duke St, Manchester Square. Submission under the grievance procedure. States he has not been treated on being wounded as other Captains have been treated when they have been sent on shore for medical treatment and returned to the ship they were wounded in. [Mentions:-] Sir George Ralph Collier of HMS Surveillante , Sir Home [Riggs] Popham, Captain Robert Bloye of HMS Lyra, Captain [Edward] Tucker, He [John Martin Hanchett] being wounded in 22 June 1813 and sent to Halifax, Rear Admiral [Edward] Griffiths, HMS Diadem.
