Folios 155-156: Askew Pafford Hollis, HMS Achille, Spithead. Reports that John Ford - Ordinary Seaman of HMS Achille having outstayed his leave on shore was chequed on the 28 October 1813 without leave and as it was supposed he had deserted, he was marked Run on the Ship's Books, but as he returned again on the 22 November 1813 of his own accord and stated that he had been confined with sickness. He request that the"R" may be removed so that he may receive his wages.
