Folios 184-185: Michael Head, HMS Curlew, Halifax Harbour.
Informs their Lordships he has reduced Corporal Perry Shanivar of the Royal Marines to Private . He had been sent ashore to draw clothing for some of the marines. Not only did he fail to do that but had to be retrieved by a party sent ashore as the ship was about to sail. He has appointed John Mitch in his place. He asks their Lordships to endorse this.
