Folios 428-429 Thomas Cuthbert Hichens, HMS Zephyr, Spithead. [Address on verso of Folio 429]. Covering letter for the enclosed letter from John Wright, Gunner of HMS Zephyr requesting an appointment to a larger Ship. He states he has conducted himself much to his satisfaction.
Folios 430-431: enclosure with folios 428-429. Letter dated 28 December 1812 by John Wright, HMS Zephyr to the Admiralty. States that HMS Tiber frigate now building by Mr [Daniel] List in the Isle of Wight and his having been on the list for promotion for over twelve months. He has requested a ship of a larger Rate. He request a Warrant for the above mentioned ship.
