Folios 199-200: Henry Hotham, HMS Northumberland, Quiberon Bay. Responds to a request for the passing certificate of William Chandler, Boatswain's Mate, qualifying as Boatswain. Advises that no certificates were given to any of the candidates examined on 29 March 1809 but he was informed he had passed by the examining Officers and his name would be transmitted to the Admiralty.
