Description

Folios 459-460: Edward Hawkins, HMS Brave, Prison Ship, Hamoaze. Report there is a mar 40 Prisoners onboard HMS St Nicholas that was taken in Holland that call themselves Spanish Soldiers and say they were part of the Mayins[?] of Romanas Army [General La Romana's Army] and were freed with the French Service, that they are very desirous to be sent to any part of Spain.

Folio 461: enclosure with folios 459-460. [Proformer] Document to be sent to the Paper Office when any Paper is sent away in original. Date - 29 June 1810, From - Captain Edward Hawkins, HMS Brave, Prison Ship, Subject - Respecting 40 Spanish Prisoners on board & the St Nicolas who wish to join their Army in Spain, Date - 2 July 1810, Nature - Refer to Transport Board to report their cases..
