Folios 434-435: Henry Hotham, HMS Northumberland, Spithead. Reports his arrival today in HMS Northumberland at Spithead with HMS Hibernia in 22 days from Gibraltar (after three unsuccessful attempts to get through the straits) as per the Orders from Admiral Sir Charles Cotton Bart, Copy enclosed. He also sends the Weekly accounts, State and Condition and Defects of both ships [none present].
Folio 436: enclosure with folios 434-435. [Form] RETURN of the Sick and Wounded of HMS Hibernia between 31 May 1810 and 22 June 1810., employed in Passage to England.
Folios 437-438: enclosure with folios 434-435. Orders dated 6 May 1810 by Admiral Sir Charles Cotton Bart. HMS San Josef, Gibraltar, to Henry Hotham, HMS Northumberland. Ordered to take under your Command HMS Hibernia and Proceed with both ships Spithead to get the defects of both ships made good and refitted.
