Folios 392-393: John Houstoun [John Houston], [His Agent] John Jackson & Co, [9] New Bond Street, [Royal Exchange]. The Accounts of Captain John Houstoun [John Houston], HMS Monmouth from the 8 December 1808 to 28 February 1809 have been delivered to the respective officers to which they belong - those for the Admiralty are deficient for want of the Certificate of" no new observations" we have written to Captain Houstoun [John Houston] several times in the West Indies in order to procure it but we fear our letters have never [reached him]. They request a dispensing order.
