Covering letter for the enclosed Order from Captain Thomas [James] Maling of HMS Undaunted to Captain John Houstoun [John Houston] directing him to receive on board HMS Merope, General Fernandez & his Suite & The Lady of General Castanos & her Servants for a passage to Cadiz. He request remuneration for his expenses.
Folio 385: enclosure with folios 383-384. Orders from Thomas [James] Maling, HMS Undaunted, Gibraltar Mole. To John Houstoun [John Houston], HMS Merope. Dated 18 March 1810. Required and directed to receive on board General Fernandez & his Suite & The Lady of General Castanos & her Servants, for a passage to Cadiz.
