Folios 211-212: Thomas Heddington, Regulating Officers, North Yarmouth. Reports that a mas was yesterday taken out of the Ranger Revenue Cutter upon information from Lieutenant Keys Commander of HMS British Fair who declared him to be a deserter from that vessel. The man denies being the person described but Lieutenant [David] Keys has been at the Rendezvous to identify him.
Folios 213-214: enclosure with folios 211-212. Letter dated 28 February 1810 by Lieutenant Keys, HMS British Fair, to Thomas Heddington, Yarmouth Rendezvous. [Declaration] The man he saw at the rendezvous is the man entered onboard HMS British Fair by the name of John Stagg.
