Folios 200-201: Francis Alexander Halliday, HMS Heureux, Hamoaze. States that Patrick Convery having been appointed Gunner of HMS Heureux request he be confirmed in this post. Enclosed is his passing Certificate [not present].
Folio 202: enclosure with folios 200-201. Orders dated 6 July 1808 by The Honourable Sir Alexander [Inglis] Cochrane KB Vice Admiral, HMS Bellisle, Carlisle Bay, Barbados. To Master Gunner of HMS Hussan and Gunner of HMS Julia. Mr P Convery being appointed Gunner of HMS Heureux. You are required to directed to repair forthwith onboard HMS Heureux and take strict and careful Survey on the Gunners Stores remaining onboard said sloop and leave them in Charge of Mr P Convery.
