Folios 152-153: John Hollinworth [Hollingworth], HMS Invincible, Gibraltar. Covering letter for the enclosed copy of his orders from Vice Admiral Lord Collingwood [Lord Cuthbert Collingwood (1st Baron Collingwood, of Caldburne and Hethpool)] to Command HMS Invincible during the absence of Captain Ross Donnelly at the Hospital. He also reports that Captain Ross Donnelly has now been invalided by which the rank of Post Captain may be obtained. He requests he be considered for promotion.
Folios 154-155: enclosure with folios 152-153. Orders dated 22 November 1809 by Vice Admiral Cuthbert Lord Collingwood, HMS Ville de Paris, Mahon, to John Hollinworth [Hollingworth], HMS Minstrel. [As] Captain Ross Donnelly has been found by survey to have eye problems and is going into Hospital. You are required and directed to board HMS Invincible and take Command.
