Folios 237-238: Sydney Horton, Liverpool Regulating Captain, Liverpool Rendezvous. Reply to letter of 11th says John McKirdy age 25 born in Rothsay taken onshore at nine at night. Thomas Farral entered a boy age 13, volunteered. George Lewis boy age 14 born Yorkshire volunteered. Robert Ledstone impressed age 21 born Milford. Said he was an American obtained replacement protection from Mr Murray, Consul, Liverpool, 23 August. Appears he sailed for Lisbon last November. Quarreled with the Captain, transferred to a Portuguese ship. Came her in the Nancy, Captain Waldron never say the purportedly lost protection. George Hannah age 21 impressed. Said born Alexandria had no protection. Arrived on an English vessel. Strong Irish accent. Returns enclosures.

Folios 241-242: enclosed in folios 237-238. Elizabeth Maxwell, 27 Preston Street, Liverpool, 8 September 1809. Widow married John Maxwell. Eldest son known as Thomas Maxwell lured into HMS Princess. Never been to sea.
Folio 243: enclosed in folios 241-242. Thomas Farral baptism certificate, 8 September 1809. Thomas and Elizabeth Farral parents registered 5 February 1707. Catholic chapel, Lumber Street. William Tarleton, Minister.
Folios 244-245: enclosed in folios 237-238. Betty and George Lewis senior, Parents, Liverpool, 8 September 1809. George Lewis age 13 left Bolton and entered the Navy last Thursday. Petitions his release as they were prevented going onboard HMS Princess. He was a bound apprentice weaver. Roger Taylor, Lime Street and Mr C. D. Parquot, Great Crosshall St Liverpool can substantiate.
