Folios 193-194: Joshua Sydney Horton, Liverpool Regulating Captain. Further to case of Edward Wilson from last April. Affidavit made by William Wilole that James Burrows, late Midshipman of a Liverpool Gang was bribed twenty Guineas by Mr Wild to let Wilson escape in which Lieutenant Peake was implicated. Reports James Burrows has now returned to Liverpool from America. Seeks advice. Shall the Gang apprehend him or the Lords solicitors? Was it Lieutenant Peake or another Lieutenant who helped Wilson escape?
