Folios 569-570: Joshua Sydney Horton, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. When the hired tender Elizabeth, Commander Lieutenant Archbold, was discharged from service on direction of the Commissioners of Navy to Captain Colquitt, Captain Horton gave orders to Lieutenant Archbold to put the boat crew on board HMS Princess. He asked Captain Colquitt to keep them for tender service in the event of another vessel being taken up by the port. He requests approval of his action, and also recommends Lieutenant Archbold as fit for reappointment to any vessel employed at Liverpool.
