Folios 332-333: Joshua Sydney Horton, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Replying to the letter of 3 March. David Hughes, born in Wales, was pressed by Lieutenant Baly on 29 January as an Ordinary Seaman. He said he belonged to HMS Hero packet. He was taken on shore. Laughlin Thompson, born in Greenock, was pressed by Lieutenant Rees on 30 January as an Able Seaman. He produced an American protection dated New York 26 November 1807. He said he had married in Glasgow but his wife and family were now in America. Richard Getwood, born in Newry, was pressed by Lieutenant Baly as an Ordinary Seaman on 25 November. There was information that he had been at least 2 years at sea. James Tennant, born in Bray, Ireland, was pressed by Lieutenant Rees on 10 June as an Ordinary seaman. Information received, and on the books at the Rendezvous, was that"he was a soldier and had leave to go to sea". He returns the enclosures. He also returns a letter [not present] addressed to Captain Mends, which Captain Horton had returned as he believed that HMS Arethusa might have been ordered to Liverpool to collect the newly raised men.
Folios 334-335: enclosure with folios 332-333. Letter dated 27 February 1809 from E. B. Littlehales, Dublin Castle to The Admiralty. Sends several papers, as set out in the enclosed schedule, relative to the pressing of James Tennant, a member of the Bray Yeomanry commanded by Lord Heath. Requests the man's discharge.

Folios 338-339: enclosure with folios 334-335. Letter dated 15 August 1808 from George White, Regulating Officer, Dublin, to Sir E. B. Littlehales. Has received the letter of 13 August [1808] regarding the pressing of James Tennant of the Bray Yeomanry. Is happy to render assistance but cannot interfere with the duty of a Regulating Officer in another port, and in his opinion the man was perfectly pressible, being away from the Regiment and the protection operating around Ireland. The application has been much delayed since the date of the pressing that it may not be successful, and he has in all probability been drafted to a ship destined for foreign service.
Folio 340: enclosure with folios 334-335. Covering letter dated 22 February 1809 relating to Lord Heath's letter to Sir Edward Llittlehales and the letter from Captain White, as requested by Sir Edward.
Folios 342-343: enclosure with folios 334-335. Letter dated 30 January 1809 from ? Lord Heath, Killruddery, [Co. Wicklow] to Sir Edward [Littlehales]. Since they met, he has received a second letter relating to James Tennant, a Yeoman in the Bray Corps, who has been pressed in violation of the Act of Parliament. He has followed the advice to send all the necessary certificates and requests Sir Edward's assistance in obtaining his release.
Folios 344-345: enclosure with folios 334-335. Statement dated 3 August 1808 from Bartholomew Naylor, Captain, and John Rathbone, Master, of the sloop Endeavour of Bray, co Wicklow, sworn before Hartley Hodgson, Justice of the Peace, County Wicklow, regarding the pressing of James Tennant in Liverpool. Also signed statements to verify that James Tennant was a Private in the First Company, Bray Infantry by Lieutenant Gordon and Captain ? of the Bray Corps.
