Folios 190-191: Joshua Sydney Horton, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Responding to the letter of 24 January. He examined Michael Bate with Mr Dalloway, Surgeon of HMS Princess, and it is their joint opinion that he is not fit to serve in his current state. He returns the enclosures [not present] and gives a description of the youth.
